Vincent Fantauzzo , melbourneński artysta został zwycięzcą tegorocznego People’s Choice Archibald Prize - ogłoszono dziś tuż przed południem w Art Gallery of NSW.

Mial wiele indywidualnych wystaw. Vincent Fantauzzo otrzymal dzis w ramach przyznanej nagrody $2 500 oraz $1000 jako prezent od Myera, sponsora konkursu. Do finalu Archibald Prize, najbardziej znanej artystycznej nagrody w Australii zakwalifikowało sie 39 prac portretowych .

Australian Fashion Week: Magdalena Velevska
Creating for women of the ‘Twenty 10’s’ is the focus of emerging brand Magdalena Velevska. Coloured with urban, clean, and refined attributes, the Spring/Summer collection depicts on a new age of modernism and curiosity. With slight nostalgia for the past and a yearning curiosity for new days to come, the collection is a wardrobe ritual of mixed provocative ideals. Taking direction from Romanesque draping and combining this element with strong shouldered 40’s silhouettes makes the collection lavish and sexy, yet youthful and modern. The vision advocates a stylish play on colour, print and silhouette that can sustain the dynamic and speed of the coming decade.

Australian Fashion Week: White Sands
White Sands is an edgy new contemporary swimwear and resort-wear line by designer Leah Madden.
Designed for the woman who is a liitle sexy, a little fun, always fashionable and savvy enough to know quality when she sees it. White Sands is quintessentially glamorous, always with an eye to fashion, and a nod to the carefree style that is so Australian.
White Sands is tipped to be one of the most glamorous, fashion forward collections to come out of Australia yet.

Australian Fashion Week: Fernando Frisoni
Fernando Frisoni was born in Sao Paulo. He studied journalism and did time at Vogue Brazil. He arrived in Sydney in 2000 and fast made a name for himself as a stylist to the stars, dressing the likes of Marcia Hines, Toni Collette and Sam Neill.
In 2002, Frisoni launched his column, ‘Urban Style’, in The Sun-Herald, for which he photographs the city’s most stylish people on the streets. ‘Urban Style’ has developed a cult following, and is frequently referenced by the fashion set.
Frisoni has friends all through the industry and is in constant contact with fashion PRs, journalists, editors and tastemakers. This puts him in a unique position to know what’s right for now, and how to get it.
Fernando Frisoni and Nicola Finetti entered into partnership in 2006 to establish Frisoni Finetti menswear label.
Finetti met Frisoni five years ago when the latter was styling celebs in his clothes, and the pair have been firm friends ever since.
In OPT Frisoni presened modern nomad style collection for man an woman looked remarkably unisex . Show was opened with a bang thanks to the youngest model on the runway all week .
The young boy had enough attitude to show the seasoned models how it’s done and won the crowd over just by simply being there.

Anna Hewett and Lill Boyd with models
Working together within the editorial team at Vogue Australia, Anna Hewett and Lill Boyd quickly established an understanding of what was missing in the Australian market which motivated the development of the Anna & Boy label 4 years ago. Seeing the label celebrated by countless magazine articles and editorial features from UK Vogue, US Vogue, Australian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar UK and Style.com and worn by many a stylish starlet and fashionista the world around.
Anna & Boy’s Summer women’s collection has a modern cool that re-interprets the chic style of a young Lauren Hutton or sexiness of Bianca Jagger for a present-day beach babe. Recollection of pool parties set in the hills of Hollywood with a vivid bikini or maillot.
