Don Ed Hardy is known as "the godfather of modern tattoo", for his sophistication, depth and sense of experimentation. California native Don Ed Hardy is recognized around the world for his technical brilliance and mesmerizing imagery. Don Ed Hardy pulls from life experience to meld American, Japanese, Cholo, tattoo, surf and hotrod iconography.
Inspired by the youth of America, vintage-inspired fashion, Hollywood stardom, and motorcycle and tattoo culture, Christian Audigier - the “king of jeans” was motivated by the artwork of Ed Hardy, then purchased the rights to his artwork in order to bring tattoo culture into the world of fashion.

RSFF: Jayson Brunsdon

A weeks worth of glamour and fun for everyone was kicked off tonight with a rerun of Jayson Brunsdon’s Spring Summer 2009 runway presentation during Rosemount Australian Fashion Festival. He received a standing ovation when he made his comeback at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week four months ago and this time the reception was just as enthusiastic with tickets soldout weeks in advance with his 1950s inspired lounge wear collection drawing the likes of Stephanie Rice, Sophie Faulkner, Kate Waterhouse, Michelle Bridges and Lizzy Lovette on the red carpet.

With a montage of popular Audrey Hepburn movie moments setting the scene, the runway show with the pairing of Brunsdon and Hepburn seemed to be made in Hollywood heaven. We also spotted Australian modeling export Else Taylor back on the Australian runways.

Sydney Fashion Festival - Opening night

With today's the opening night, 2009 Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival in Sydney's Martin Place brings Australia’s biggest fashion names to the public in this week.

Featuring five days of free and ticketed public events, the festival profiles the contemporary Spring Summer Collections of local and international fashion brands as these new season’s looks arrive into stores throughout the city. A specially built, state-of-the-art marquee at Martin Place welcomes international models to the catwalk and celebrities to the front row.
